nobody likes the new icon, guys, but its still the same search engine we all knew, they just put up a new icon. some people act as though they made it so that you cant search properly! a search site is a search site, evan if it means they can change the icon. its eather google was sold to youtube or vise-versa but thats probably what changed it. chill out, guys. you get the same search results, ok, THE SAME evan though they changed the icon!
Capital Punishment:
The same, but for the lower case 'g', hey?
On my screen - which is probably different than the gaggle of other google users - the entire look of the website has changed. The functionality has changed and the pleasant feel that was Google has changed - forever, I imagine.
I LOVED Google. I HATE google.
Bring back the capital G and the old look - or at least allow us to have a choice.

I was shocked when I saw the new icon. It's nice how Firefox retains the original favicon in the search bar. The Mozilla development crew have their heads about them.
Bring the old G back and get rid of that hideous pile of shit. In this world, aesthetics mean everything. Changing something so familiar and easily recognized is not a good idea. Business or casual.

I'm not against changes, I'm all up for improvement. Change is the way forward!
However, it becomes almost impossible to find the Google search pages now between all the other icons. It doesn't stand out like it used to do.,
It makes my webbrowsing more difficult, not just different.
So, I'm for a new logo, but a better recognizable logo as well

Sorry Google, I know you feel the need to keep your website "fresh" but some things are just classic. Your official logo is still the same, excluding the occasional theme logo. It's familiar, it's obvious. It took me a few weeks to realize the new favicon is the little 'g' in Google. That's how disconnected the new design is.

The old favicon was a lot more clearer, it identified Google as a brand. The little "g" says nothing to me. The big "G" was easily identifiable with Google because of the use of colour and made Google look a lot more reliable and trustworthy. The old icon was also a lot more readable due to the background bringing out the "G" where as the "g" sinks into the background.
Please bring back the old icon!
